Lawn Fawn Challenge 19-Favorite Set!

2:30 AM 2 Comments

Hello! I'm squeezing in a card for the current Lawn Fanatics Challenge #19 to use your favorite LF Set! I chose this darling Beary Happy Holidays set because I adore these bears!!!

I decided to use them as brown bears this time and I masked off the ice skates. I colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating Beary Happy Holidays Lawn Cuts. For the background I used the Stitched Cloud Backdrop Portrait and the Leafy Tree Backdrop Portrait Lawn Cuts. I also added the grassy hill using the Stitched Hillside Borders Lawn Cuts.

The balloon is from Taylored Expressions and the sentiment is the freebie I received from LF with my Party Panda stamp set!

That's it for me! Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year!!!

Your Next Stamp Challenge #79-You Warm My Heart

2:19 PM 0 Comments

Hello! I wanted to share a card I made for the current Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge #79:) I used both the sketch and colors for my card today.

The image I used is from the super adorable Hot Cocoa Phoebe stamp set-LOVE! I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I then cut the image out and popped her up over my circle panel. I stamped the sentiment onto a banner cut with a YNS Fishtail/Banner Die Set One Die.

The dp is from Doodlebug Designs Here Comes Santa Claus and I framed it using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frames Lawn Cut. To finish it off I added some sparkly Candy Land Glittered Gum Drops.

So cute! Thanks for stopping by today!

More Lawn Fawn Tags!

4:40 PM 0 Comments

Hello! I have some fun tags to share with you today! I just love the current trend of sponging Distress Oxide Ink behind the image and also flicking drops of more saturated color. Such a cool look so I decided to give it a try!

For my first tag I used the adorable penguins from Snow Cool along with the Snow Cool Lawn Cuts. I colored my images with Copic Markers and cut them out. For the tag I used the Taylored Expressions Tag Stacklets 2 along with the Rectangle Flap Stacks. I cut the tag out of Watercolor paper and then sponged with some Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. I then added some of the color to a piece of acetate, spritzed with water, and used a paintbrush to flick the color onto the sponged portion. So cute!!! The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn Tiny Tag Sayings.

For my next tag I used one of the super sweet deer images from the Cheery Christmas Stamp Set and Cheery Christmas Lawn Cuts along with some Fired Brick Distress Oxide Ink. The sentiment is from Tiny Tag Sayings once again.

Finally, I used a darling bear from Beary Happy Holidays along with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink and a sentiment from the Winter Otter Stamp Set.

So much fun!!! I just love creating with these darling images! Thanks for stopping by today:)

Homemade with Love!

8:00 AM 1 Comments

Hello! So I finally got my Halloween decorations put away, and put out all of my fall décor:) We will have a full house next week with my parents, my sister, and her husband all coming from out of town for Thanksgiving. So after I got all of my fall decorations put out, I was in the mood to make some pumpkin bread!

The recipe makes 4 mini loaves plus a few muffins so I packaged up one of the loaves for my neighbor. I had to make a tag to go with it, so I used this ADORABLE stamp set from Your Next Stamp called Waddles-Homemade with Love:) I colored Waddles with Copic Markers and cut him out. I used a Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker to add the orange watercoloring behind him and then simply stamped the sentiment below. So cute and simple!

Hopefully my neighbor will love it! She made us some banana bread recently that was soooo good so I wanted to return the favor:) Thanks for stopping by!
