Taylored Expressions Die Focus: July Script!

11:45 AM 0 Comments

Hello! I wanted to share a fun little gift tag I made using some fab Taylored Expressions Dies! To start, I used the Build a Tag 2 Dies to cut out the layers of my tag. I embossed the base with the awesome new Brick Embossing Folder.  I then added the fun grill using the Little Bits Grill Die and used the July Script to cut out the BBQ sentiment. I need to go find some yummy and unique BBQ sauce to tie this around for a Father's Day gift! Maybe I'll put together a little BBQ gift set! I just love tags and this one was so quick and easy to make:)

That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific Tuesday!

Taylored Expressions Pinterest Inspiration!

10:00 AM 0 Comments

Hello! I wanted to share a fun card I made using inspiration from the Taylored Expressions Pinterest Boards! The card I used is Jen's adorable Ships Ahoy card HERE

I decided to use some fab TE products that I've been dying to get my hands on:) I LOVE the Sky High-Hot Air Balloons Dies! They make it so easy to create beautiful and fun balloons! I cut the larger one out of some Cherry Pop cs and then layered it over some Doodlebug Sunkissed dp. I also cut the smaller balloon out of the same dp and added the bows cut out of Cookie Monster cs

The hills were cut using the Build a Scene Rolling Hills Dies and the dp is from the TE Build a Scene Paper Pack. Finally, the clouds were cut out of Sugar Cube cs using the Build a Scene Rolling Clouds Dies. I stamped a sentiment from Sky High Sentiments onto the front and then stamped the rest of the sentiment inside:

Make sure you check out the TE Pinterest Boards for more inspiration and have fun getting crafty! Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific Tuesday:)

Taylored Expressions May Release Day: Punny Man

10:00 AM 4 Comments

Hello! It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions and all of the new products are available NOW in the TE store!

For my final project this week, I created a couple of tags using the fun new Punny Man stamp set, the fab Build a Tag 4 Dies, and the Little Bits Anchor Die. I just love the stitched look that this tag die gives! I also used the TE Wave Border Die. The dp is some Carta Bella Ahoy There and I used some Blue Corn cs for the base of the tags. I cut the anchor out of some Metallic Neutrals cs.

These were so fun and easy to make! The Build a Tag die sets are definitely some of my favorites:)

Taylored Expressions May Sneak Peeks: Under the Toadstool and Block Party-Party

10:00 AM 1 Comments

Hello! It's Day 3 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions and all of the new products will be available tomorrow, May 7th at 7AM PST!

For my first card today, I used this ADORABLE new set Under the Toadstool! I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copics. I cut the fairy and mushroom out with the coordinating Under the Toadstool Dies and hand cut the mouse. I stamped the sweet stars from the set directly onto the circular panel and added the rhinestones. I layered that with the flower shape cut with a Bloomin' Stacklets 2 Die. The dp I used is Doodlebug Sunkissed and the layout is the Deconstructed Sketch #189.

For my next creation, I made a fun 4th of July invite using the new Block Party-Party Die!

I started by cutting a piece of Blue Corn cs with the Block Party-Party Die and also cutting the top portion with the new Starry Night Cutting Plate. I then layered that over some Lemon Meringue cs and cut out the PARTY sentiment once again using Sprinkles cs which I layered over the navy. I bordered the sentiment with 2 strips of Summer Nights dp. The stamped sentiment is from the new set Eventful, and I stamped that onto a panel cut with a Label Stacklets 1 Die. I also added the fireworks using the Light Up the Night stamp set.

The inside was stamped with the new RSVP stamp set and I cut the border using the new Downtown Border Die. I stamped more fireworks using Light Up the Night, and I really love how it came out! Very simple but such a cool look!
