Taylored Expressions King of Kings

Hello! The Baker's Dozen is creating some faith based projects this month using some of TE's fabulous spiritual products! I used the beautiful Graphic Greetings-Redeemer Stamp for my card today.

To start I stamped the entire stamp using Oreo Ink onto some old Basic Grey Cappella dp that I had in my stash. I then taped around the King of Kings sentiment and inked up again. I removed the tape and stamped just the King of Kings portion onto some Pink Champagne cs.

I cut it out with a Stitched Banner Stacklets Die and cut the entire sentiment out with a Stitched Rectangle Stacklets Die. I sponged around both with some Tea Dye Distress Ink and layered over some more Basic Grey Cappella dp. I added some Silver Metallic Twine and then cut out a cross using an Old Rugged Cross Die and some Toffee cs. Such a simple card but so pretty:)

Thanks for stopping by today and happy stamping!

TE Release Day: Happy Haunting

Hello! It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions and all of the new products are available NOW in the TE Store!

I have one final project to share with you today. I used the fabulous new Haunted Cutting Plate along with the awesome new Fright Night Flight Embossing Folder to create this fun scene.

I used the Haunted Cutting Plate to cut a piece of Oreo cs and layered that over some Earl Grey cs embossed with the Fright Night Flight EF. I added a moon cut with a Stitched Circle Stacklet out of Sugar Cube cs behind the tree, and some strips of Lemon Meringue behind the house to look like the lights are on. I then added the fun jack-o-lantern using a Gothic Window Accessories Die and some Pumpkin cs. Finally, I added the sentiment from the Gone Batty Stamp and Die Combo using Sugar Cube Ink.

So quick and easy to put together! Great for mass production!

Thanks for stopping by today! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete list of our participating designers! Have fun shopping the fab new products and happy stamping!

TE Sneak Peeks: Owl Always Love You Tutorial!

Hello! I have a fun little tutorial showing you the steps I followed to put this adorable card together using the new On a Limb Dies and the new On a Limb-Leaves Dies! I also used the previously released Hoot Hoot Hooray Stamp and Die Combo-so cute! Remember, all of the new products will be available tomorrow, August 4th at 7AM PST in the TE Store!!!

To start, I cut out my branch using some Toffee cs and one of the On a Limb Dies. I then cut the leaves using some Peapod cs and Granny Smith cs along with the On a Limb-Leaves Dies.

To add dimension, I used some Chocolate Truffle, Granny Smith, and Peapod Ink to sponge around my pieces. This really helps them pop!

I then stamped my adorable owl images using Oreo Ink. This ink stamps images so nicely, and it's perfect to use with alcohol based markers like Copics!

When deciding how to color my images, I always select the dp I want to use first so I can coordinate my coloring with the paper. For this card I used Doodlebug Sweet Things dp.

My colored images along with the Copic Markers I used:

Finally, I cut my sentiment banner using a Stitched Banner Stacklets Die and then stamped the sentiment using some new Sugar Cube Ink. This ink stamps so well and is such a nice, vibrant white!

Put your pieces together and it is complete!
